South Carolina Community Relations and Development Conference
the sessions within stream 1 focus on a reviewing and enhancing the practices of the CRD-Councils throughout the State. Each session examines some aspect of how CRD-Councils and the overall CRD system functions for the purposes of mutual learning and developing best practices
the sessions within stream 2 are workshops that focus on developing key cross cutting competencies that support more effective participation within the community relations and development system (e.g. supporting constructive conversations, conflict management, concensus based decision making etc.)
stream 3 is comprised of a series of panel discussions organized by sector (e.g. health, public safety, education etc.) in which panelists discuss noteable community development and relations initiatives within there sector
during the conference luncheon, awards are given to those CRD-Councils who provided exception support for the community development and relations proces in their community
an evenining banquet is held at the end of the day in which community members and organizations are recognized for their exception achievements in enhance key contributors to the quality of community life, including community relations
